Our Easter Eggspress weekend proved to be a busy two days. We carried many happy families in our Victorian-era heritage carriages up and down the line. 121 class locomotive, 124, provided the motive power. After each trip, we took them to meet one very bubbly Easter Bunny, who had set up a stall in our Carriage Gallery. They certainly had their paws full, with Monday’s trains being completely sold out. Despite this high demand, our bunny friend didn’t rest until all the children went home with a delicious egg.
As always, facepainter extraordinaire Kaz A Doodle was kept busy giving the children (and quite a few parents) a fun Easter look.
Easter may all over for another year but we’ll be open again for The SuperTrain event on 2nd May. Places are already filling up fast.
