Congratulations to our Christopher McCausland for bringing home a *THIRD* award this year. On 5th November, he was crowned ‘Rail Safety Champion’ at the inaugural Rail Link Lookout Awards, held in Fota Island, Cork. This pitted him against nominees from the big proper railways, so very well deserved. The accolade came hot off the heels of being crowned Emerging Leader of the Year at the Social Enterprise Northern Ireland Awards. Earlier in the year, Chris was named Rising Star at the Heritage Railway Association Awards.
Also this week gave a talk on his experiences as a young volunteer at the Heritage Railway Association’s autumn conference. This took place in Birmingham.
He’s certainly been a busy bee, and well-deserved congratulations again.
