Last Saturday 121 class loco 124 took our wandering wagons up to Inch Abbey for storage. This was so as to keep the Loop Line clear for vegeration clearance. On the way, we took a moment to admire our recently refurbished farm crossing near the station.
This was the first time that a train had passed over the user-worked crossing since the fence work and de-veging by On Track Technicians Ltd. Driver Mike was almost seen to smile as he wondered at the amount of visibility he had rounding the curve round into the crossing.
We are very grateful to the team at OTT. The quality of work has far surpassed expectations.
