Lapland Express: Quiet Train 2025

If you want to travel on our Lapland Express trains to meet Santa, Mrs Claus and the Elves but you have someone in your group who doesn’t respond well to crowds, music and other loud noises, you can now book for the Quiet Train on Saturday 29th November at 4:30pm.

This session has been specially planned:

  • There will be lower noise levels, with music turned down and the Santa crew will dial down the volume slightly but not the fun and magic.
  • Passenger numbers will be restricted to reduce any crowding on the train. While our Santa trains are normally pretty relaxed in terms of passenger numbers and space, this will give that bit of extra space to those who need it.
  • Group sizes are limited to a maximum of six people.
  • There is a longer gap between the previous non-Quiet train and the Quiet Santa Train to ensure there’s fewer people on the railway when you arrive.

Fares are the same as the other Lapland Express sessions:

  • Adults: £21
  • Children: £26 (includes a present)
  • Infants (aged 0-12 months) not requiring a present, drink or treat: FREE *
  • Eligible carers: free if you meet the criteria – please see the FAQs below.

* A 50p booking fee applies to infant tickets as we still incur a charge with the ticketing company

Details of the Lapland Express can be found on the main booking webpage.

Children’s tickets will include a present from Santa, which will be a plush toy animal suitable for all ages.
