The last few years have been tough on our voluntary-run heritage railway. As you may be aware, our railway had only began recovering from the Covid-19 pandemic when the devasating floods of 2023 hit us extremely hard. This resulted in a long journey of recovery for the railway and much hard work and funds are needed to get the railway fully back on track.
To help us continue to raise funds, for our 40th Anniversary year the railway is launching our first ever Grand Draw. This specific fundraising affords you the opportunity to win prizes of £500; £300 or £150 with a consolation prize of a free 1-year family pass ticket to the railway.
The railway would be eternally grateful for your support by way of purchasing tickets and/ or selling tickets amongst your family, friends and work colleagues as a voluntary donation to the railway. Tickets for the Grand Draw costs £5.00 each or 5 for £20.00. We hope that you can help us reach a goal of over £20,000 and combined with potential Gift Aid could net the railway £25,000. The Grand Draw shall take place on Saturday 13 December 2025 on board the Lapland Express with Santa Claus accompanied by Mrs Claus randomly selecting the winning tickets.
