Superhero showdown at Downpatrick

The Trickster God, Loki, returned to the Downpatrick & County Down Railway on Saturday 24th May, bringing with him his own brand of chaos. Fortunately, we are able to call upon some of the world’s greatest superheroes for help, with Spider-Man Captain Marvel and Captain America answering the call, ably assisted by little heroes from across Northern Ireland.

After assembling at Downpatrick station, our heroes boarded the ‘SuperTrain’ and headed out to Inch Abbey where, after an initial superhero training session, they faced Loki and defeated the nefarious villain.

A big thank you to all the little heroes who answered the call, we couldn’t have defeated Loki without you. We hoped you enjoyed the day. And if you missed out, the SuperTrain is on standby for another event later this summer, keep an eye on our social media pages for updates…
