Following on from our success at the Heritage Railway Awards, the DCDR trophy cabinet gained two further additions last week following the CO3 Chief Officers 3rd Sector Awards, which took place at the Europa Hotel in Belfast.
Our Chairman Robert Gardiner, and Finance Officer, John Noble, both emerged victorious in their respective categories; Robert being awarded ‘Leader of a Small Organisation’ while John took home the ‘Trustee of the Year’ title. After the harrowing year following the floods of November 2023, we are very proud to see the work of our volunteers in restoring our railway recognised at such a high level.
CO3 (Chief Officers 3rd Sector) is an organisation dedicated to supporting and connecting Third Sector leaders throughout Northern Ireland.
