Join us for a whiskey tasting experience like no other in Northern Ireland on board our retro 1980s diesel train. Starting at Downpatrick, our heritage train (as seen in Derry Girls) will take you on a relaxing journey in the shadow of the Mountains of Mourne, through the ancient plains of Downpatrick to Inch Abbey.
On board the train, our drinks expert will guide you through a tasting of four local whiskeys, each brought from a distillery located along the route of the old County Down railway: McConnell’s from Belfast, Copeland from Donaghadee, Hinch from Ballynahinch, and Shortcross from Crossgar.
The experience will take you from Downpatrick to Inch Abbey and back, lasting approximately 50 minutes.
Your tickets also allow you to visit our award-winning carriage gallery & museum.
The whiskeys on display in the photograph may not be the exact ones served on board our train, but they will be from the distilleries outlined above.
