SEEN & UNSEEN – a miscellany of strange places and stories
Robert JE Simpson is your storyteller for Seen & Unseen – a journey through the weird and macabre in Northern Ireland.
Traces of the past are all around us. Robert will cast his unique eye over our forgotten past – bringing the hidden history and folklore back to life as he explores tales of the strange and supernatural. From bloodthirsty highwaymen, ghostly hauntings, to vengeful Vikings and peculiar objects.
Each edition of Seen & Unseen features a fresh mix of tales, and audiences are encouraged to examine the evidence.
For this edition at the Downpatrick and County Down Railway, Robert will be presenting his talk onboard the beautifully restored carriages in our carriage museum.
Wrap up warm, as even though the event is in April, it can be chilly at night in our Carriage Gallery, and that is before Robert sends shivers down your spine…
