The popular Downpatrick Artisan Market returns to the Downpatrick & County Down Railway on Monday 31st August for an afternoon of local produce and crafts.
Twelve local traders will set up at the station, offering a vibrant mix of artisan food, handmade goods, and unique gifts.
Visitors can also enjoy end of summer discounted heritage train travel aboard our classic Derry Girls diesel train, operating round trips from Downpatrick to Inch Abbey. Tickets can be pre-booked online or can be purchased on the day. Our on-board buffet will also be selling drinks and snacks.
This is a shorter experience than usual and it won’t be possible to leave the train at Inch Abbey.
Entry to the market is free, with plenty of free parking available on site. This is a fantastic opportunity to explore Northern Ireland’s only full-size heritage railway and support local makers in a unique setting.
